I installed Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE) on Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air and in order to have wifi working I have to blacklist "acer_wmi" module.
The problem is that rfkill list gives only
0: acer_wireless: Wireless LAN
1: hci0: Bluetooth
It lacks
2: phy0: Wireless LAN
So when I blacklist "acer_wmi" module wifi still does not work.
What can I do?

I think the only way is to:
1. get a USB network connection (should work with a USB-to-RJ45 adapter)
2. upgrade the kernel with a 4.x
