I am running LMDE 2 on a Lenovo Ideapad G70-70. My Wifi card is a Broadcomm B43142. Wireless is working OK but I cannot get bluetooth to work.
This is the output from lsusb:
$ lsusb
Bus 003 Device 002: ID 8087:8000 Intel Corp.
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 105b:e065
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0c45:6513 Microdia
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 0bda:0129 Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTS5129 Card Reader Controller
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
I am pretty sure my bluetooth adapter should be listed next to Device 004 but do not have a clue how to rectify this.
I have only just started using LMDE and previously used regular Mint versions. Previously had issue around firmware not being seen by the kernel (I think) and I had to place a file in the firmware folder which got things going. I have tried that already and no luck.
Any one had similar issues and been able to solve them?
