hi to all
I'm new of Mint, I've installed Betsy 2 with MATE
I'd like to:
1. view app preview when I move mouse over the app icon in applications bar (as in Windows)
2. view all windows like in osx Mission Control / Exposé (as in OSX)
I've found a post speaking about using compiz, but I've not compiz installed or available
thanks

Re: Previsualization of Windows / Mission Control
I'm not an LMDE user, but I know that Compiz comes pre-installed in Mint 17.3 Mate edition. It has an included Mint program to easily switch between Window Managers.
I'm sure an LMDE member will chime in . .

Unfortunately, there's no Compiz in Debian Edition of Linux Mint.
Main Edition is recommended for new users anyway, so I'd recommend to install it instead and have Compiz out-of-the-box.

Try skippy-xd? You'll have to compile it though. https://github.com/richardgv/skippy-xd
