Linux Mint testing and LMDE 2.2017.09?

Post by hd_scania »

I have asked here by late June and Buster has been out FEW DAYS before late June with a Stretch stabilization at same time, So will there be Linux Mint testing codebased Buster (and Debian testing afterwards) for the more advanced users than LMDE ones (even Ubuntu Mint), and when will be LMDE 3 (or LMDE 2.2017.09) out codebased Stretch (and Debian latest stable afterwards)?

You can keep asking and the answer remains the same.

- There will be no LMDE based on Debian Buster aka Debian testing earlier then after that becomes Debian 10 and is released as stable.
- LMDE 3 — moving to Debian Stretch aka Debian 9 package base — planning is as of yet not known.

Debian testing is NOT as UNSTABLE as Sid, but also NOT as STABLE as the stable Debian distributions, but what is making the Debian codebase for LMDE to be the stabilized Debian distributions, and instead of Debian testing, aka who are targeted to LMDE? As what your front page has said, LMDE is for advanced Unix users w/o a need of PPA (from Ubuntu), but why Linux Mint still thinks your LMDE users NOT to be ready to Debian testing? Here I am willing to read furthermore for the LMDE backgrounds.:)
