Linux Mint no bootable devices

Post by mcmakkers »

Hello, i installed Linux Mint onto my Acer Aspire F15. After installing, I saw that it said no bootable options after restart, so I followed this tutorial https://itsfoss.com/no-bootable-device-found-ubuntu/
shown on another post. However, when I got to step 3, the settings were greyed out and I couldn't change them. What should I do?

You will probably have to set a supervisor password to access these settings.
