Hello,
I have been using LMDE 4 for about 5 days. I shutdown my computer at lunch and when I started it again after lunch, it appears that I have no menu tab or any icons along the bottom of the screen. I did run my mouse to the bottom hoping it would pop up but no such luck. I did a search and it seems that most posts mention the menu may be hidden. I do not recall doing any settings changes to cause to to be hidden. Any help would be great.

Open a terminal by pressing Ctrl+Alt+T--then copy/paste the following:
Press enter.
Assuming you have not changed the desktop environment from Cinnamon that should get you back in the saddle

Hi John,
You can edit your original post by clicking on the pencil icon on that post and adding SOLVED to the Subject there.
