Issues booting LMDE4 from USB

Post by ChurchOfDuck »

I am new to using Linux and was trying to boot LMDE4 of mint from a USB. Running it from the NVIDEA driver options I keep getting a AMD-VI Completition-wait time loop, before getting an IOUM event and an error while assigning device slot ID, max number of devices this xHCI can host supports is 127, and then says it can’t allocate the USB device I am trying to boot it from. Then gives me a BusyBox for Debian. I have a AMD ryzen 5 2400G for a processor and an NVIDEA 1060 graphics card. I used etcher to make the usb boot ready.

Try booting from the ordinary boot option - just because you have a nvidia GPU doesn't mean it won't work.
