How do I make my monitors turn off on the lock screen?

Post by fcfDN3 »

I want to be able to leave my computer on over night without having to turn off multiple monitors every time. I'm aware that you can use a custom keyboard shortcut that can do this, but any slight movement will just turn it back on because of my mouse. If there's not a better way to do this, is there a way to make it so my monitors don't turn on from mouse movement?

the custom keyboard shortcut: bash -c "cinnamon-screensaver-command -l; xset dpms force off;"
