LMDE support after Buster reaches end of life?

Post by sdibaja »

LMDE is currently based on Debian Buster.
Debian Bullseye will be released in the next month or so, therefore Buster will reach EOL one year after that (mid 2022).

If LMDE is not reconfigured for Stretch withing that time-frame what happens with updates, in particular Security?

from your link see "How to use the updates from LTS"
https://wiki.debian.org/LTS/Using

is that something a typical LMDE user can/will do?
considering apt-pinning I think not
