Resolution at 1920x1080 screen isn't centered [UNSOLVED]

Hello.

Yesterday i installed LMDE and after changeing the resolution to from 1024x768 to 1920x1080 the screen is to the left 7 pixels and 4 pixels up (according to my monitor settings)

At 1024x768 works just fine.

I also have the ubuntu based linux mint installed on another pc with this configuration for the xorg.conf and don't have this issue (with this monitor) with another graphics card.

Also to note that i had the linux peppermint debian based and detected the graphics card and changed to 1920x1080 automatically and with no issues

Has your monitor the option to "reset to defaults" or can you adjust the placement of the screen there in your monitor settings?

Hello.

My monitor does have the reset to default, but remains the same.
Yes i can adjust the position, but when i turn on the screen it does the auto adjust...

I've noticed when i use 1024x768 works at 60.00hz, but when i switch to 1920x1080 uses 59.96hz Recommended VSync

I have no idea where i check to use VSync or it is automatic.

Not sure why that's happening, other than your hardware is perhaps not officially or fully supported in Linux. However, there might be an option in your monitor's settings to disable autoadjustments.

Hello.

There is no option to turn off the auto adjust.

The problem doesn't reside with the monitor, because i used on my other computer with Mint Ubuntu based without a problem.
Sure the graphics card was a

As i said above before installing Mint Elsie i had Peppermint 11 (i think) and after installing the card auto switch to 1920x1080 without this problem. Noted this version of Peppermint ditched Ubuntu for Debian

VGA cable? I bet the Radeon is too old to have a HDMI port. You certainly mentioned that Peppermint worked on this same machine though.
60hz mode is recognized by the driver. Try to force it.

xrandr --output VGA-0 --mode 1920x1080 --rate 60

If that somehow solves the problem, we'll have to look for a way to make the setting permanent.

Using Peppermint Devuan live i still have the same problem, however 800x600 at 56.2 Hz the screen is just fine, but at 60.3 Hz the screen is displaced.

Have you tried with arandr, the xrandr GUI version?

Yesterday i installed LMDE and after changeing the resolution to from 1024x768 to 1920x1080 the screen is to the left 7 pixels and 4 pixels up (according to my monitor settings)

At 1024x768 works just fine.

I also have the ubuntu based linux mint installed on another pc with this configuration for the xorg.conf and don't have this issue (with this monitor) with another graphics card.

Also to note that i had the linux peppermint debian based and detected the graphics card and changed to 1920x1080 automatically and with no issues

Have you tried with arandr, the xrandr GUI version?

sudo apt install arandr -y
Then search arandr in your application and select the right screen parameters :)

Hello.

I wasn't ware that existed a graphical version, thank you, it wasn't a total lost.

Manage to change resolutions, but didn't fix the problem. for now i'm at 800x600 (4:3) at 56.25 Hz
