LMDE 3 Cindy Bad Shutdown

Post by pcpunk »

I just booted LMDE 3 Cindy in a live session and went to shut down but am greeted with a black screen but the computer is still running! This is not good, this is on one of my personal work computers, what gives with the bad shutdown. There is no warning like Mint's Cinnamon to pull the medium and press Enter.

Reason: ""LMDE 3 Cindy in a live session": moved thread from "Main Edition" - "Cinnamon" to "LMDE 3" - "Boot & Installation"

I seen this happen in debian 9.3 itself. Just reboot the laptop. For some reason the eject prompt never shows. I thinking a glitch.
