Cannot go to LMDE after installing KDE Neon

Post by CWW »

Hi Linux Mint,

If any of you are good at other Linux distributions, then I can really use some help.

A few weeks back, I installed KDE Neon onto my computer alongside LMDE. I have no other operating systems other than those two. KDE Neon worked fantastically!

But when I tried to go back to LMDE, it gave me these two error messages:

error: /boot/vmlinuz-4.19.0-17-amd4 has invalid signature

error: you need to load the kernel first

Please help me find a solution as soon as possible.

Maybe the information in this thread will help vmlinuz-4.18.12-041812-generic has invalid signature which seems to indicate this is related to Secure Boot settings. Perhaps you updated your BIOS/UEFI and that changed the setting?
