LMDE 5 & LVMLMDE errors during boot up

Post by MuertoViviente »

Hello everyone,

After installing LMDE 5 on 2 different setups, one with an SSD and another with several SSDs and HDDs (both AMD Ryzen CPUs), I always encounter the LVMLMDE "error" during boot up, just before typing the crypt password, which works fine. After reading many posts, it seems that some of the pointed errors are Debian bugs that haven't been addressed, yet, but the LVMLMDE error might lead to not being able to login in the future, at least according to another poster. Have any of you encountered this same problem and found a solution? The system works well, so far, but...

Please unlock disk lvmlmde:_
Cheers,
