after informing them of the problem I encountered when installing the eid-viewer package I got the following advice :
it seems that eid-archive has detected the wrong distribution . You can solve that by editing the correct configuration file :
in sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list.d/eid.list
Edit the last two lines to look like this :
deb http://files.eid.belgium.be/debian buster main
deb http://files2.eid.belgium.be/debian buster main
… Could solve this problem?
The problem was:
details of Synaptic package management;
eid-archive: Installed OK
eid-mw: Installed OK
eid-viewer: not OK: when I mark for installation I get the following message;
Could not mark all packages for installation or upgrade
The following packages have insoluble dependencies.
Make sure that all necessary repositories are added and enabled in the preferences.
Requirements: libcurl3 (> = 7.16.2) but is not installable
Requirements: libeidviewer0 but it will not be installed
Requirements: libssl1.0.0 (> = 1.0.0) but is not installable
eid-viewer-dbgsym: trousers from the same sheet
Requirements: eid viewer but it will not be installed
SOLVED by making the proposed changes via sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list.d/eid.list:
Code: Select all
GNU nano 3.2 /etc/apt/sources.list.d/eid.list deb http://files.eid.belgium.be/debian buster main deb http://files2.eid.belgium.be/debian buster main [ 2 regels gelezen ] ^G Hulp ^O Opslaan ^W Zoeken ^K Knippen ^J Uitvullen ^C Positie ^X Afsluiten ^R Inlezen ^\ Vervangen ^U Plakken ^T Spelling ^_ Naar regel
