Thought flatpak was supposed to be native to LMDE...
Tried for example "flatpak install simplenote" and nothing goes.
Did i miss a step?

Are you using the LMDE 3 beta? That comes with native flatpak support (both in Software Manager and on command line). LMDE 2 does not.
Aside from that, there is no "simplenote" flatpak. You can view and search available flatpaks on FlatHub: https://flathub.org/apps

You are right, Simplenote is not "flatpaked" yet.
Wish i could momentarily disable "find as you type" feature in Firefox.
Can do a search on that Flatpak site.
Think i had previously installed Simplenote via Snap.
Anyway, did install Hydrapaper via Flatpak and it works just fine.
