Website not working

Post by timlinux »

When I go to https://www.speedway.com/ in Firefox, there is a spot to enter your location, and it will bring up the gas stations near you and their prices. I've never had any trouble with this website on any linux distribution until LMDE. Everything else in LMDE is working great. When I enter my location and hit enter, there is no response whatsoever. So, I click the little magnifying glass. Still nothing. I tried putting actual Debian in virtual box, and it did the same thing. There are other gas websites that do work in LMDE. Also, I tried it in Vivaldi, and it works in Vivaldi. So, maybe it's something that Debian is doing to Firefox specifically? How do I get this website to work in Firefox in LMDE?

Well, this won't help you get it working on your system, but I tried it in both LMDE2 and LMDE3 (in VirtualBox), and it works fine in both. Except that the nearest store it showed is 1521 miles away.

Disable all add-ons and try again.

Thanks. It looks like Privacy Possum is the culprit.
