I know how to configure FF on for every FF on every user account on follow way:
* a little bit by hand and menues (configuration will be overwritten by update and so on)
* much more possible to configure by aboout:config (configuration will be overwritten by update and so on)
* same like about config can be configured by user.js (every user need own user.js, will be not overwritten by FF update)
Question:
* Its possible to configure Firefox on LMDE on global way, p.e. in one config file for all user of LMDE PC ?
Global Firefox configuration possible or need to configure for every account FF ?

What are you doing that any of those are overwritten? Your Firefox profile files do not get overwritten on update of Firefox.LarsClarsen wrote: ⤴Sat Jan 05, 2019 6:56 pm * a little bit by hand and menues (configuration will be overwritten by update and so on)

You can put about:config preferences in the file /etc/firefox/syspref.js (like user.js) to apply to all users, see http://terokarvinen.com/2016/firefox-sy ... syspref-js. You can also place multiple .js files in /etc/firefox/pref/ to keep it more organized.
