GNU Octave has graphics bug on LMDE 4

Post by madmax95 »

I installed LMDE 4 on virtual box to check it out. Everything seem to be ok, except for Octave (installed from apt, not flatpak). When I launch it, it is very slow and graphics upon the directory list on the left is quite messy, something that doesn't happen on ubuntu based Linux Mint 19.3. Has anyone else encountered that problem on LMDE? Because I searched the forum and I found nothing. And by the way, this problem doesn't exist on pure debian (just for the record).

I'm having the same problem with Octave in LMDE 4. It has graphic bugs at file browser, and seems slow to start.
