and finally, there are where libgcl is looking at

Code: Select all

ldconfig -p | grep libGL.so.1

libGL.so.1 (libc6,x86-64) => /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libGL.so.1
libGL.so.1 (libc6) => /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libGL.so.1
I have been installing wine-stable with the 32bit architecture enabled, like in
viewtopic.php?p=1620723#p1620723

and... it's still not working :'(

I tried to install the proprietary driver of AMD, but they are out-of-date and not compatible with x-server 1.19

I'm stucked now... somebody may help me ?
Thank you

Hi,

Are you aware that both Steam + GOG offer native Linux versions of BGII - no WINE required.
For custom Nemo actions, useful scripts for the Cinnamon desktop, and Cinnamox themes visit my Github pages.

Thanks for the reply :wink:
Yes i am, yet i am not willing to pay 15euros for a game that i already have - And bought at an equivalent price more than 15years ago :!:

And this "wine" error pops so much with identical "steam" issues on Google - with no answer working for ati graphic cards - that i am not confident with this solution either.

Still, i did not put the debug of libgl, but what happens il that it looks for 32 bits versions of r600_dri and swratch.
I already thought of building a 32 bits Vm to get what libgl is looking for but my bad, this is an uggly solution...
