Remaster Tool for LMDE

Post by RobertX »

I'm looking to jump over to LMDE to test the waters, and I would to know if I can play with the settings of a remaster software for Debian.

Does one exist?

Of course, I'm not trying to pilfer LMDE or anything stupid like that; I'm using it for personal and educational purposes.

Can anyone help?

Nope, the whole idea behind LMDE is to have a backup for Mint in the remote chance that Ubuntu dies permanently.
this would destroy the Repositories for all of the regular Mint Distros.

So, LMDE3 and LMDE4 were built to have a way for Mint to continue forward in that event.

The ISO for each is the only way you will get it.
Once installed, apply all updates.

now watch someone come along and prove me wrong

Install LMDE in a VM - then you can mess with any/all settings as you like.
