Is Warpinator available for LMDE4?
I would be nice to use it from my Mint 20 Cinnamon to my LMDE4 I use as a server.

When I went looking for it, I couldn't find it, so my assumption is that it isn't.

Read the Monthly News from April: https://blog.linuxmint.com/?p=3890
In LMDE 4, all you need is this package. Download it, install it, Gdebi should ask to install its dependencies and these are available in the LMDE 4 repositories.
And with 'this package' Clem means: https://www.linuxmint.com/tmp/blog/3890 ... .2_all.deb

It's wise to keep an eye on the blog, it has useful info and insights.

It's working great!
I went back to 19.3 on my desktop because of a little problem with 20.
I was sad years ago when "Giver" was gone, I'm glad it's back and redone better than ever.
I just shot a file over to my LMDE4 Plex server...smooth as silk.

Hi,
sorry to come lat to this post. I was wondering if Warpinator is safe and how does it works technically?
Thanks a lot.
N
Happily using Linux Mint Cinnamon on a Dell XPS 15 and on several MacBook Pro.

It's safe to use, it works over your internal network only directly from machine to machine (Peer to Peer). If you want to see the source code you can:

https://github.com/linuxmint/warpinator
I’ll tell you a DNS joke but be advised, it could take up to 24 hours for everyone to get it.
