The moment I click on xfburn I'm returned to the login page. Same from a terminal -- no messages.
Cinnamon verision: 4.8.6+Debbie
xfburn version: 0.5.5-2
LMDE 4, everything up to date.
Asus DRW-24 B1ST
Note that I triple-boot with Arch and Standard Mint, and both the DVD-writer and xfburn work fine there.

Re: Cinnamon crashes when xfburn is started
Is it possible you're getting error messages when you run `xfburn` from the terminal, but you're logged out so quickly you can't see them? If so, you should redirect all output of the command to a file you can check when you log back in. You can do this with, for example:
XFBurn's official development page is here: https://gitlab.xfce.org/apps/xfburn
If you're so inclined, you could post a bug report.
xfburn 1> ~/xfburn_output.log 2>&1

If you're so inclined, you could post a bug report.

Thanks Termy. That command returns the following error: Ambiguous output redirect
Re: Cinnamon crashes when xfburn is started
You're welcome. I think you mistyped it or something, though, because that's a syntax error.

Switched to K3b -- no issues.
