LMDE 4 Debbie user. The distro uses an old version of flatpak, so is it impossible to install UC?
I read this articles
viewtopic.php?t=350032
viewtopic.php?f=90&t=348021
I get this:
Adding PPAs is not supported
flatpak is already the newest version (1.2.5-0+deb10u4).
When double clicking the AppImage from https://ungoogled-software.github.io/un ... 72.114-1.1 ,
nothing happens after allowing it execute as a program.
Is the Linux Mint Chromium version the same as UC?

Re: Can't install Ungoogled Chromium (Flatpak 1.8.2)
Run
sudo apt-get install -t buster-backports flatpak
in a terminal to get a reasonably newer version of flatpak. Then you can install the ungoogled chromium flatpak.Hardware problems on LMDE? Solution:
sudo apt-get install -t buster-backports linux-image-amd64 firmware-linux firmware-misc-nonfree
To use a version of LMDE after EOL, replace mint's Firefox with debian's one

Avoid the flatpak bloat. Here the repo page with instruction to install from the opensuse repo;

Sorry for responding late. I installed the Debian Buster version from GitHub, Thank you. However, I did tried to install first UC through the Software Manager after successfully executing hazel-bunny's command. An error message appeared : Type of message, '(ayussass)', does not match expected type '(ayussasass)'
Why some of you don't recommend flatpak? I'll research more about it, but what would be your best argument? flatpak allows me to install software with a few clicks. PPA is cool, but I had troubles before. For example; I couldn't install updates in Elementary OS after installing Blender trough PPA.
