[SOLVED] Update problem with mintsources 2.1.8

Today, I got a lot of updates for my LMDE 5, and one of those fails with the following error, in Dutch:

 subproces dpkg-deb --control gaf de foutwaarde 2 terug
Fouten gevonden tijdens verwerken van:
 /var/cache/apt/archives/mintsources_2.1.8_all.deb

Eén pakket kan niet worden geïnstalleerd.  Bezig met herstelpoging:

The error message suggests that the mintsources 2.1.8 deb file uses an unknown compression for element 'control.tar.zst', so that there is no other way than to give up on that, with error code 2.

Has anyone else seen this?

I'm using Dutch mirror mintlinux.mirror.wearetriple.com, and haven't tries switching mirrors yet.

Hi ennoborg, I had the same issue here (although I was using a Brazilian rather than Dutch mirror), but the update worked fine after I switched to other mirrors.

I just found more updates, including a mintsources 2.1.9, and that works.

@DJ_Atman: Can you try again?

I can acknowledge, that the issue is solved with mintsources 2.1.9
