D-Link 3G sim dongle[DWP-157] is not working after installing linux mint

hi im a new linux user,
after installing LMDE5 elsie im unable to connect to internet. when i plugged it in, it doent show any popup or any window
it shows blue light as usual but doent show any connectivity. i also try adding manually broadband connection but it didnt work,
before this system it shows pop up window and blue light in linux mint 20.3 uma but that time i didnt knew how to connect....
but now there is no pop up and no connectivity....
I couldn't find driver and hardware option on my system,
please help me. I've been in trouble for 1 year and didn't know anything at that time :x :x :x :x

Installation guide on Ubuntu
It should work on Linux Mint though you may have to block kernel updates and stick to current kernel.

I can't add anything more than what MiZoG has already posted. Any reason you can't just use the internal wifi card?

i cant show whether it is plugged in or not .. but blue light is on...
it also not shows memory card that is inseretd on it.
is due to kernel update or anything else...
please help me ASAP.
