I'm new to LMDE, but I've been using Linux Mint Mate since version 9. I've never had this issue with any other version, so I'm guessing it is something I haven't been looking at. My trackball accelerates just fine horizontally, but vertically, I have to go up no less than four times to get from bottom of the screen to the top and vice versa. I've checked all the mouse properties, set the sensitivity to low and the acceleration to high, but still no change.
Any suggestions?
