Thermaltake Duet USB ext drive dock

Post by bookter » Thu Aug 15, 2019 10:53 pm

Hi all--
I have a Thermaltake Duet ( https://www.thermaltake.com/blacx-duet- ... ation.html ) drive dock. LMDE only recognizes one of the drives in it. Mint 17 and subsequent main editions did just fine. Any ideas?

No one? Bueller? Bueller?

This is probably a matter of missing proprietary firmware in the Debian kernel. I crossposted this to the Debian forums too with no joy. The Thermaltake website is not any help either.

I solved it by just installing 19.2, and it works perfectly. I still have my Cindy installation if I ever run across a solution. Thanks anyway. folks :-)
