Lenovo 11e touchpad does not work on battery power

Post by johnlsavage » Fri Sep 06, 2019 1:06 pm

Hello, I am looking for some direction to obtain consistency with my touchpad. AC or battery, hibernation, sleep, or suspend; I would like for the touchpad to perform reliably. Here is some of my information:

Code: Select all

xinput list
⎡ Virtual core pointer id=2	[master pointer (3)]
⎜ ↳ Virtual core XTEST pointer id=4	[slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ Synaptics s3203_ver5 id=13[slave pointer (2)]

The problem certainly comes from the kernel 4.19.0-5-amd64 x86_64 bits which is not certified compatible with LMDE 3.

Linux Mint 19.2 Cinnamon 64 Bits on Dell XPS 9570 (i7-8750H) laptop / Debian 10 Buster Cinnamon 64 Bits on customized workstation (i7-5960X @ 3.8 Ghz) / Raspbian 10 Buster on Raspberry Pi 4
