Hello,
This week, I installed LMDE Debbie on an Acer Aspire E15. Everything was working great. As part of the set up, a system update took place. Now, I cannot use the keyboard/ touchpad. I have to use an external mouse to bring up the on screen keyboard. Fortunately, I saved the previous version, so I rebooted and the previous version works with no problem. In summary:
No keyboard or touchpad with: LMDE Debbie 4.19.0-10-amd64
Keyboard and touchpad work with: LMDE Debbie 4.19.0-8-amd64
Any advice, please (I don't want a future update to remove the keyboard/ touchpad).
Many thanks in advance.

Check if the update manager gives you the option not to update 4.19.0-8-amd64 kernel.
