Hi and happy New Year 2021, recently i bought 2 27" gaming screen's, they are all 2 connected in hdmi, because GC are 1.4 DP/HDMI and screen's DP1.2/HDMI1.4. (I had link errors on windows 10)
Since then, it has been impossible to put the screens on standby regardless of the time selected, they go into standby for a fraction of a second, then come back on ...
Tested under LM20 and MX, ditto.
the settings are 15 minutes, no hibernation or screen saver.
I did some research, but couldn't find a solution.
My graphics card is a Sapphire RX570 Pulse 8Gb.
Have the latest amd opensource drivers. (needed for the mobo and CPU)
Neither vsync or freesync available under LMDE4.
Any idea??

Re: Screen's does not go to sleep
The 'energy settings' in Linux Mint is a piece of junk that for me never worked properly with any external display I connected.
