Wifi is discovered, but won't connect

Post by SavedGaming »

Hello Linux Mint team I have written to you earlier on this problem that I have whenever I try using LMDE 3 cindy of Linux Mint, the wifi networks are discovered, but no matter which wifi network i connect, it quickly says disconnected, I recieved a possible fix for this problem from Pierre but it didn't end up solving the problem, I tried searching the forum for other possible fixes, I found one but it didn't work either, do you per chance have any other possible fixes?
I have a Netis Usb wifi adapter on the one that I tested a live session.

Those commands won't fix anything. I'd just like to see what they show if you can post the results here.

You were asked to post the results, not the bits that you considered relevant.

Easytether and Clockwork not functioning

Post by SavedGaming »

I believe in the Next update it started working, I am having an issue with easytether connecting through usb as even when it says its connected, and so I tried clockworkmod but the ./configure doesn't work on newer versions of linux including lmde4.
I looked on youtube but it seems a few other people I read In the comments have had a similar issue with clockwork.

Software issues might come up if you have a computer virus, which could disable or block your ability to connect to Wi-Fi. You'll want to scan your computer or device for viruses and remove any if found. Then restart your computer and try connecting again.
