After resolving my WiFi issues yesterday I was able to be on the internet, but today trying to connect, the authentication window keeps popping up and the only way I can connect to the internet is with using my USB tethering through my phone. Can someone help me?

Is it asking for your wifi (WPA) password?

Yes and it is correct but won't stop popping up every time i they to connect.

What does this say:

Well, I dunno, but you might check in Network Connections, Edit, Wifi Security tab & see if your password is entered & saved there.

It is saved and correct.
Is my wifi stick causing the issue?

Maybe, but I'm not sure. Someone else might jump in with an idea.

In Network Connections, General tab, 'Automatically connect to this network' should be checked.

Also click the icon to the right of the password & be sure 'Store the password for all users' is checked.

Click Save & reboot if you make changes.

Both checked. Rebooted, but no change. Still does the same thing

Mint isn't asking your for the password, your router or modem is. Have you set the password in your router/modem properly and saved it?

Yes my router is set and saved for the password. I have no wireless card in my computer, i run off a tp link wifi stick. Is that what is causing the issue? I worked with sleeper to get my wifi stick running, and it was connecting me the night we got it working, but the next day once I started my computer, it keeps asking for the authentication and only way I can connect is by using my usb tethering through my phone.

I don't know what the problem could be. HAWR offered to help you try to get your old Zyxel adapter going in the other thread. If no one can figure this out, maybe try that. See HAWR's post here: viewtopic.php?f=249&t=314852&start=20

Maybe. See if there is somewhere in the tp-link setup to create/save a password & have it connect automatically.

When I searched for the tp-link in my files, there is no such folder for me to even run a start up.

My zyxel broke. I was going to go with that option, but it was old and worn out from constant movement that it snapped.
