network manager conf

Post by cretsiah »

should the setting in

Networkmanger.conf

managed=false

or should it be

managed=true

because so far i have not been able to connect to any of the networks that i can see when clicking on the network thingy next to the clock

when i click on the appropiate connection it shuts down as though invoking the " this might be false so turn off/shutdown "

I think that setting involves network devices specified in /etc/network/interfaces, if managed=false then network manager will not manage that interface

yes well that seems a bit awkward now doesnt it

device shows available networks

but doesnt appear to be listed as an interface

the interface file says some junk like

Code: Select all

try this

do that

treat as fake

shut down
im not sure if that is what it the " if " statement should say, but im not a coder :oops:
