So like a few others i had wifi connectivity issues,

could see the networks but couldnt connect to them....

seems with LMDE it requires installation first (tried in live usb but didnt work)

then needed to

sudo nano /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf
Now add below lines to the file:

wifi.scan-rand-mac-address=no
Restart NetworkManager service:

sudo systemctl restart NetworkManager
then REBOOT
