LMDE3 Tweaking

Post by HaveaMint »

I loaded LMDE3 on a spare drive and replaced Cinnamon with XFCE DE and it is running real smooth so far. Took a bit of extra stuff n things to install but it is starting to look very good.

That's good to hear. I liked the Xfce edition of LMDE years ago.
Make sure you install the xfce4-goodies package if you have not already done so. It will give you extra panel features and options.

I think I did do that, I've done a lot so far. My recent task on it is to get the option Open as Root in Thunar.
