Re: Debian 11 (bullseye) release notes published
Note that these are the work-in-progress Release Notes which get updated periodically as Debian 11 development continues. While indeed interesting, some items may change, and I wouldn't expect a final draft any time soon (i.e., 2021).

Absolutely, there isn't even a code freeze in sight yet.

Everytime I see that codename I think "Super, Smashing, Great!". The game show that was so bad it was good

I’ll tell you a DNS joke but be advised, it could take up to 24 hours for everyone to get it.

Yes, quite a lot of people still use 32-bit systems. They only stopped selling them in the late 2000s.

fascinating, I use "throw away" stuff and I had not come across anything unable to use 64 in well several years now.antikythera wrote: ⤴Fri Sep 25, 2020 3:17 pm Yes, quite a lot of people still use 32-bit systems. They only stopped selling them in the late 2000s.

If I see correctly, bullseye have linux-kernel-image 4.19 ??
So it will be terrible outdated when it comes out ?
Will it be installable with floppy disks?

That table is copied and pasted from the Debian 10 release notes, it will get updated as the release notes are still being worked on.

Thanks, I feel better now. Was already started thinking about alternative distro ....

most likely 11 will roll with the 5.8 Kernel.
