Hi All...
I'm trying LMDE (kernel 4.19.0-13-amd64, Cinnamon 4.8.6). I had regular Mint 20; ditched it because of a video issue with one of my apps. LMDE, with Nvidia video, is working fine!
One question: In standard Mint/Cinnamon, there was an 'app-start indicator' - when I would click on a desktop icon, the mouse cursor would become a "whirly" (the little circle with the spinning dots). LMDE doesn't seem to have that, and I miss it! Does anyone know of a way to enable that effect in LMDE/Cinnamon?
Any thoughts/instructions would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Re: Activity indicator
i think installing a cursor theme from gnome.org will work
just see which one you like and install that, installation instructions will be given there already
