[Solved] Why is LMDE4 so agile?

Post by greengreen »

I have started to use LMDE4.
Why is LMDE4 so agile?
What's the secret of Debian-based speed compared to Ubuntu-based?

What I feel is not an objective measurement value, but a sensational response.
Screen transition, screen drawing, loading of website by Firefox, etc.
Overall agile !

Such sentiments are incongruous in a tech support forum where only cold, hard facts and solid data are de rigueur. Especially so when you were asked to provide cold, hard facts and solid data.

Not that I want to burst your bubble or anything.

This is a small room for "Open Discussion" in the forum, isnt it?

It is agile in a utilitarian sense--basically rock solid to begin with.

So, what word in particular don't you understand the plain meaning of, and what word led to you believe a falsehood?

I was expecting LMDE4 to be faster than main edition. If it is, it must be close, I can't tell any difference

Have comparison speed tests been done?

Hi,
No, I don't have comparative measurements.
But you can find an article about it here

This blog article is written in Japanese, so read it through the translation of the page.
