Neofetch Show & Tell

Post by Shadowstreik »

Neofetch may be nothing more than to look cool. Albeit, it may be able to provide 'some' assistance in working issues.

Let's see what coolness may be out there for LMDE, in particular.

I'll begin...

What we have, here, is my foray into customizing Neofetch output when firing up Terminal. This one is for the daily driver PC for the home(notice the difference between the Neofetch ASCII art and my avatar. The Neofetch art is representative of the home where-as the avatar is for the YouTube channel logo for myself.)

I have always considered Neofetch as eye candy. It does provide some useful system information, but I find inxi (or the Sysem Info front-end) or pinxi are better tools for the job.

=EYE CANDY ENTERTAINMENT=

From the fictional world of CHRONIQuest...

In 1992, an experimental OS had been built and incorporated into a 1988 Ford Escort, It's purpose was to couple with a temporal vortex emitter mounted on the front of the car to become a time machine (kinda like the famous Delorean, but much much plainer.)

The experiment was a success on its first use. However, the car was destroyed some time later. Yet, the Kilographic Accuation Tenuator operating system survived and was recovered and stuffed into a desk drawer never to be used again until...

The components were installed into a Lenovo Ideapad (Atom processor)...
