Nautilus:seeing file info without clicking file icon

Postby sdim » Sun Apr 13, 2008 6:48 pm

Dear friends,
I can say that almost everything I use in Mint are entirely functional and well made.
Nevertheless,I cannot understand why the developers of Linux (at least Ubuntu, that I know of) haven't thought of the thing that Windows Explorer does in Win XP,and which I think is a very good and useful feature:Just by moving the cursor over a file icon or document, you get a little card telling you basic information about the file, without having to right-click on it and go to the Properties in the drop down menu.
I believe that it is a very useful feature that Nautilus should have.
As I'm relatively new to Mint,I don't suppose such a thing can be done, can it?

Thanks for reading.
