Icon design inconsistency

Post by mister_playb »

I applaud the huge effort put in by the Mint design team to give us so many theme options but I was disappointing to see that it was badly designed. If you go at "Home" and look at the folders, the Documents, Downloads, Public and Templates have white symbols on the green icons. Music has a black symbol on the green icon. Desktop and Pictures have black and white symbols on the green icons. Videos has a black and blue symbol on the green Icon. This does not look polished, and that was the point of this release. They should be all white on green. Or if we ever get new icons, the most moderns look is that of elementryos where the symbol is in the middle of the folder and its just a darker shade of the folders color.

The icons are consistent IMO, but if you want different ones you can find some on gnome-look.org.
