User Settings -> Advanced Settings
dialog box goes off the bottom of the screen
cannot be resized
have to use Alt-F7 (move) to nudge it up so I can kit the OK button

This is a common issue especially with the 1024x600 displays in netbooks.

An easy way round this is to drag the dialog or window with the mouse or trackpad, by holding the left ALT key (KDE) or Super key (Cinnamon) and pressing the mouse button whilst over the item (anywhere except the titlebar). This won't select anything within the window or dialog box if the modifier key is held.
