I only recently discovered the Extra Pane option in the windows file manager, and it's proving very handy. Been using LM (Cinnamon) for quite a while now and maybe no excuse for not seeing it earlier but somehow it never registered. Anyway, was thinking it might be useful to show a Pane toggle button in the toolbar as well as keeping it under the 'View' and F3 options. Maybe with the toggle button showing by default? and the ability to hide it under Preferences/Toolbar.

Yes please add this. I suggested it a while back but nothing happened. Its very annoying to have to move back and forth to the menu or F3. It would speed up my work flow having a toggle in nemo for the extra pane.
