Rename multiple files in Nemo

Why not offer the bulk rename functionality out of the box? Currently it's easy to add to Nemo by installing Thunar and tweaking preferences but many users will be unaware of this.
It really adds something useful to Nemo so I think it should be a default, whether hard coded in or just pre-configured using Thunar.
