I've only been using linux mint for months and I love it, so I'll leave a couple of simple suggestions here to keep improving.
First of all, it would be useful to have the "format" tool at hand; I do many formatting, and I think it should be as simple as "right click -> format drive"
As a second suggestion, the submenu "create new document" should come by default with options such as "new writer", "new pdf", among others; I have done it manually with the Templates folder, but because it is so simple and useful, it should be implemented by default.
