Guayadeque
My only request/suggestion is to add Guayadeque music player to the Mint repos. http://www.guayadeque.org/
This outstanding music player is better than amarok in my opinion and no other Linux music player even comes close.
It's a simple task to add their ppa to your system and download the deb package, but it would be nice to just get
it from the software manager. I love it, especially the shoutcast radio feature.
Thanks
Mint KDE 18.3 - it's a thing of beauty

Perhaps not the latest release though. I have it on one system. It looks and works well
but it's just a lot more music player/management than I need.

Re: Guayadeque
That's funny, I've searched for it a half dozen times and it never showed up. And
it isn't listed in the software manager.
it isn't listed in the software manager.
Re: Guayadeque
It is most certainly there. Software Manager--type 'guayadeque' in search box
If you know the name (or even close to the name) Synaptics Package Manager is the best go-to for new packages.
Not easy to find when searching categories though If you know the name (or even close to the name) Synaptics Package Manager is the best go-to for new packages.

Re: Guayadeque
Then why doesn't it show up when you search for it in synaptic?
And why isn't it in the list in software manager under sound and video?
I can make it show up too after I add the ppa myself.

Re: Guayadeque
Did I misspell it above? It is not listed until I add the ppa myself.
And it hasn't been for the last three releases of Mint KDE
Oh well it isn't that big of a deal. Not worth arguing over.

Re: Guayadeque
Well that 'splains it. I always thought all used the same repos. Well you never stop learning I guess.
Sorry, I didn't mention KDE originally.
