Auto-save when battery critical [SOLVED]

Hi,

is there any option to set Auto-Save of documents when battery is critical before shut down?

I make it a point to set AutoBackup to 1 minute in all of my document editors.
worst case, you will loose 60 seconds worth of changes...

I just posted up a new thread for Cinnamon trying to find out why Power Management does not have AutoShutdown on Critical Battery.... my laptop battery went to zero and my file system crashed.

:shock: I'm off to look at that. My systems are set to hibernate on critical battery BTW; this in combination with auto-save seems to be the best policy for me.

What we need is for the issues with suspend and hibernation to be fixed, if possible. I don't have any real issues, but I know some do; machines going into comas etc..

last night's file system crash put me back on my old habits,

I now just shutdown the PC, all is well that way.
