Easy way to disable the Primary Clipboard

Hey there,
I'm a web developer and often while writing code and scrolling up and down with my mouse, I middle click by mistake which pastes something in my code.
Most annoying thing is that it pastes it on a few lines (because I'm using VS Code and with a middle click it selects multiple lines, so it pastes clipboard on all of them).
Mostly I didn't see this at the moment and after few saves and edits, it's hard to remove this pasted clipboard.

I would be very happy if we can disable the middle click paste feature.
I was Windows user many years so I'm not used to using this feature anyway.
A checkbox in the settings would be perfect. :)

Thanks.

No, this is not a solution. This just fully disable mouse middle click. I'm using it for other things like closing browser tabs, scrolling in web pages, etc.
So, I don't want to fully disable middle click. The idea is to disable the "paste" feature.

Hi HunteR.

Yes, this actually works. Thanks for it. I hope there wouldn't be a performance impact because of this script.

But in order to make it work, I had to install libev-dev, libx11-dev, and libxi-dev.
This could be a hard task for a newbie.

Mint is a user-friendly distribution, so I think it would be cool if there is an option for an easily disable this.

I'm glad you got it working.

I agree it's something a little beyond newbie-friendly. That said, I don't think most newbies know that Primary even exists. I do think it would be nice if this were packaged into an easy .deb install file.
