Option to have common unit of file Size in Nemo

Post by mediclaser »

Is it possible to have an option to have a common unit of file Size in Nemo? For example, all files in a folder are shown with their sizes expressed in KB, instead of a mixture of MB, KB, GB and bytes. This way it is easier to spot a relatively huge file or relatively small file without intentionally searching for them. I normally sort my folder views either by file name or date modified.

It looks a bit messy, but it can be done..
Edit Preferences, Display, File size - select long format..

Shows as such..

Yeah, I already tried that. To me, it's actually messier than the default setting.
