I know Cinnamon devs will never implement global menu.
But can I ask for locally integrated menus? As an optional feature ofcourse!

It will allow to reduce vertical size of some windows (like filemanager) and save some extra screen space!
Efficient use of screen space is important for laptops.

The only things under the control of the Mint developers are the desktop and the Mint tools. All other applications, and the Gnome base for the DE are under the control of different developers. You need to take your idea to those others.

Also, at the top of the page, it is stated, "So that developers and users from any distribution can discuss ideas in one place, post ideas about improving software to the collaboration website for that software instead."
